Lovely Letters | February 2015

It’s that time of the month again – Lovely Letters February 2015 edition! For those that are new, Lovely Letters is a pen pal program with other bloggers, hosted by Esther. Every month there’s a new theme and you mail them something according to that theme. You should definitely check it out if you want to meet other bloggers and build a community.

This month’s theme was “Valentines”. My lovely partner is Cara from the Bay Area. She was Miss Philippines and placed top 10 in the Miss World pageant. I thought that was so cool since I never met anyone that was in a pageant before. She’s one of those super woman that is a mom, has a full-time job, maintains a blog, and just recently launched a side business selling Keep Collective. Amazing! I really don’t know how she manage to do all that. You should definitely check out her blog since she writes just about everything.

Lovely Letters Feb 2015What was inside the package she sent me:

  • Pretty origami paper. I love how colorful they are!
  • Lovely scented candles. Perfect for Valentine!
  • Couple of stationary cards. They’re so cute!
  • Crystal necklaced she picked out in Sausalito. So sweet and thoughtful!
  • Notepad and pen. I love how the header says “Owl you need is love”. Haha … so cute!
  • Chocolate. Yum yum!
  • Keep Collective brochure. The trinkets are so cute and I like how the price point is much more affordable than Pandora.
  • Her business card. This is when you know she’s the real deal! I have so much to learn from her!

I’m a huge advocate for the lost art of letter writing and I love how “lovely letters” is encouraging people to rediscover the magic of sending/receiving ‘real mail.’ Love all those paper beauties Cara sent you. I’m looking forward to participating in the March swap.

    • Yes! I agree! I a bit sad kids aren’t learning how to write in cursive anymore. It would be a scary day when the next generation can’t read cursive. Yay! I’m so glad you signed up for the March swap! Excited for you! 🙂
