Lovely Letters | April 2015

It’s that time of the month again – Lovely Letters February 2015 edition! For those that are new, Lovely Letters is a pen pal program with other bloggers, hosted by Esther. Every month there’s a new theme and you mail them something according to that theme. You should definitely check it out if you want to meet other bloggers and build a community.

This month’s theme is “colorful”. I really like this theme since I like bright, colorful stuff 🙂 My lovely partner is Victoria. She’s a really creative person that currently lives in LA. I love the graphics she designed on her blog and she’s doing the VEDA challenge, which is impressive. It’s been a joy getting to know her.

Lovely Letters April 2015This is the package I sent her. She had a family emergency so I haven’t received her package yet but will update once I do!

Every month there’s a new theme and you mail them something according to that theme. You should definitely check it out if you want to meet other bloggers and build a community.

This month’s theme was “Valentines”. My lovely partner is Cara from the Bay Area. She was Miss Philippines and placed top 10 in the Miss World pageant. I thought that was so cool since I never met anyone that was in a pageant before. She’s one of those super woman that is a mom, has a full-time job, maintains a blog, and just recently launched a side business selling Keep Collective. Amazing! I really don’t know how she manage to do all that. You should definitely check out her blog since she writes just about everything.

Lovely Letters Feb 2015What was inside the package she sent me:

  • Pretty origami paper. I love how colorful they are!
  • Lovely scented candles. Perfect for Valentine!
  • Couple of stationary cards. They’re so cute!
  • Crystal necklaced she picked out in Sausalito. So sweet and thoughtful!
  • Notepad and pen. I love how the header says “Owl you need is love”. Haha … so cute!
  • Chocolate. Yum yum!
  • Keep Collective brochure. The trinkets are so cute and I like how the price point is much more affordable than Pandora.
  • Her business card. This is when you know she’s the real deal! I have so much to learn from her!

It’s that time of the month – Lovely Letters January 2015 edition! For those that are new, Lovely Letters is a pen pal program with other bloggers, hosted by Esther. Every month there’s a new theme and you mail them something according to that theme.

This month’s theme was “goals”, which is fitting for a new year! My lovely partner Claudia aka Sparrowhawk from Redding, CA. Omgoodness I don’t know where to begin. She is so sweet and loving. You can feel how bubbly and happy she is just through her emails. She’s a mother 4 (how amazing is that?!) and she home school her kids (wow!). I’m totally amazed by her love for Jesus Christ and family. I also feel really blessed to have met another sister in Christ who has been praying over me (which I totally need!). I’m so glad to have met her through the Lovely Letters exchange!

Lovely Letters Jan 2015 2What was inside the package she sent me:

  • Desk calendar – to go with the “goal” theme.
  • 2 pens – aren’t the design so cute?
  • a book “Cinder” – one of my goals is to read one book a month so she’s helping me with one of the month! I’m super excited to read this book since it’s one of Claudia’s favorite book so I’m intrigued on why she likes it so much plus it’s not a book I would normally pick up.
  • ice cream corner bookmark – omg how cute is this?! perfect to use reading “Cinder”!
  • handwritten letter – i love the envelope! it’s so creative and fun!

Lovely Letters | December 2014

Happy holidays everyone! This month I’m super excited to co-host the Lovely Letters Snail Mail program with Esther.

What is Lovely Letters Snail Mail?

It’s basically a pen pal program where you get to know other bloggers. We will pair you with another blogger and then y’all can get to know each other through email or social media. You’ll then mail them a small package according to the month’s theme. Every month there’s a different theme. For example, last month’s theme was “gratitude”. This is a great program to meet other bloggers.

For December, instead of having a theme to send a package, we just wrote a handwritten card to our pen pal and send an extra card for them to give to someone else. I love paper goods and checking out different stationary and cards so I thought this idea was great! I got paired with lovely Ashley. She’s going to school in Sacramento and will be graduating next year from college! How exciting! I have to admit though that I was guilty of not being as responsive to my emails this month due to travels and the holidays and she was busy studying for finals.

Lovely Letters DecemberThese are the cards I sent to her. Hopefully she enjoys them!

Lovely Letters Dec 2014This is the package I received from Ashley! The cards are lovely! She knew I like Justin’s so she got me Maple Almond Butter. Yum! Can’t wait!!
